Our eighth beef is approximately 55 lbs and includes approximately the following: 

50% Premium Ground Beef - Approximately 27 lbs Ground Beef - 85/15 blend - in convenient 1 lb packages (cut from a single animal)

25% Savory Cuts - Approximately 14 lbs of the following: Chuck Roast, Sirloin Tip Roast, Rump Roast, Shank Roast (approximately 2.5 lbs each), Stew Meat in convenient 1 lb packages, Cube Steaks, Half Brisket

25% Mouth Watering Steaks - Approximately 14 lbs of the following: New York Strip Steaks, Filet Steaks, Ribeye Steaks, Petite Top Sirloin Steaks, Round Steaks, Flat Iron Steaks, Skirt, Flank, Hanging Tender (most steaks are 1 inch thick and 2 steaks per package)

An eighth beef requires about 2 cubic feet of freezer space. This can fit in a fridge/freezer combo.
